FINAL RESULTS
REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Day 1
Racing started around 9:30 am in 5-8 kts of wind. 4 races were completed in each division before increasing winds forced a postponement around 2:30 pm. Racing resumed at 3:15 pm, with 6 races completed in A division. Race 6B was abandoned due to increasing winds, and racing was eventually postponed for the day around 4:30 pm. Currently, Wisconsin is in 1st place, with Michigan, Minnesota and Northwestern locked in a tight battle for 2nd place.
Day 2
Racing resumed at 9:45 am today in 5-7 kts of wind. During the resail of 6B, the wind dropped off. Racing was postponed until 1100 to allow the wind to fill in, eventually reaching 10-12 kts at the conclusion of the rotation.
One protest was filed, but was deemed invalid and thrown out. Thanks to our judges George Griswold, Brian Ebner and Tom Vickers.
